When a merchant you referred pays their first ₹499, you get one month free — a ₹499 credit on your account. There's no cap on how many months you can earn.

Pricing questions
Do you take a cut of my payments?
No. Milan is ₹499 a month, flat. We never take a percentage and there is no per-transaction fee. Your customer pays your UPI ID and the money moves directly from their bank to yours — it never passes through Milan.
Is the first month really free?
Yes. Every new merchant gets their first month free, so you can set it up, run real orders through it and decide whether it saves you time.
What happens after the free month?
The plan is ₹499 a month from then on. If you referred other merchants who have paid, your ₹499 referral credits are applied first.
Are there limits on the number of payments?
No monthly cap on orders or payments. The one technical limit: for any single price, up to 99 orders can be unpaid at the same time within the order window, because each open order needs its own paise value. As orders are paid or expire, their slots free up.
Does my customer pay anything extra?
Only the 1–99 paise that make their order's amount unique. For ₹349.50 they might pay ₹349.53. Those paise go to you like the rest of the payment.
Does Milan add a charge to my customer's payment?
No. Milan doesn't add anything to what your customer pays beyond those identifying paise, and never deducts anything from what you receive. Your subscription is billed to you separately.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Your payments keep working without Milan — they were always going into your bank. You'd just be back to confirming them by hand.
