One more step: create the milan-alerts label

Your app password works. Milan looks for your bank's alerts in one label, and it doesn't exist yet. Without it, your bank's alerts never reach Milan and payments can't be confirmed. It takes about a minute — use a computer at gmail.com (the Gmail phone app can't create filters).

Quickest: import a ready-made filter
  2. Open Gmail filter settings → scroll down → Import filters → choose the downloaded milan-filter.xml → Open file.
  3. Tick Apply new filters to existing email → Create filters.
It labels mail from your bank as milan-alerts and keeps it out of Spam. Use a computer — the Gmail phone app can't import filters.
Or create it by hand
  1. Open Gmail searched for your bank's alerts (from:your bank)
  2. At the right end of the search box, click the Show search options icon (the sliders) → Create filter.
  3. Tick Apply the label → Choose label… → New label… → type exactly milan-alerts → Create.
  4. Tick Also apply filter to matching conversations → Create filter.

Then come back here and press Check again.

Not on Gmail? Create a folder with that exact name, and a rule that moves mail from your bank into it.
